This floor tool is great for use at home and at work and is just as competent on hard floors as it is on carpets. A built-in "kick switch" allows a set of brushes to be lowered from the underside of the floor tool making it perform brilliantly on hard floors such as laminates and tiles, when cleaning on carpets these bristles can be raised back inside the head allowing the head to 'glide' over the pile.
