Caparol HaftGrund EG is a white, pigmented, water-based primer designed for use on both interior and exterior surfaces. It serves as an adhesion-promoting undercoat prior to the application of dispersion, dispersion-silicate, or silicone-resin paints. The formulation provides uniform absorption, improves adhesion, and stabilizes smooth or slightly absorbent substrates.

Intended Use

  • Suitable for mineral substrates such as concrete, plaster, and render.
  • Ideal for gypsum plasterboard and drywall to reduce the risk of delamination of thin filler layers.
  • May be used as a preparation layer before wallpapering on smooth or low-absorbency surfaces.
  • Appropriate as a base coat for renovation work where consistent surface characteristics are required.

Returns & Color-Mixed Paint

Please note that custom color-mixed paints cannot be returned. These products are mixed specifically for you, based on the color you select, and therefore cannot be resold.

We will, however, accept a return or provide a replacement if there is a manufacturing issue or if the color you received does not match the color ordered. If this happens, simply contact us with your order details and photos, and we’ll take care of it.
