Little Greene Absolute Matt Sample Pots are suitable for interior use. Matt emulsion is a decorative coating providing a flat finish for use on walls and ceilings. Little Greene Absolute Matt is a wipeable product and is suitable for light traffic areas where occasional cleaning is required.
This muted gold colour elegantly serves the space between muted-yellow and warm-neutral. It takes its name from the delicate, shell-like sponge cakes which were enjoyed by the French romantic writer Marcel Proust, as a boy. They are later referenced in his monumental literary work ‘In Search of Lost Time’; ‘madeleine de Proust’ has subsequently become an informal term for a childhood memory triggered by the senses. Use Madeleine as the main wall colour in a calm, welcoming space. Bring in Bombolone or Bassoon on the trim as a darker complementary tone for a contemporary interpretation of this charming neutral yellow.

Sample pots are ideal for testing colour on your own walls, they are quick-drying and can be easily washed out in water.

Returns & Color-Mixed Paint

Please note that custom color-mixed paints cannot be returned. These products are mixed specifically for you, based on the color you select, and therefore cannot be resold.

We will, however, accept a return or provide a replacement if there is a manufacturing issue or if the color you received does not match the color ordered. If this happens, simply contact us with your order details and photos, and we’ll take care of it.
