  • ProX+ provides an excellent seal for correctly made-up taper thread connections to 50mm (2”) diameter
  • Soft setting non-petroleum-based tapered thread sealant for use with potable water and mains gas
  • Water resistant thread sealant containing PTFE and aramid fibres for lubrication and tighter joint make-up
  • WRAS approved for use on cold potable water systems
  • Suitable for Gas Safe registered installations
  • Easily applied and brushable
  • Working temperature: -18°C to +200°C
  • Suitable for use on gas installation pipework as class A, Arp and class B thread sealant as defined by BS EN 751-2:1997
  • Maximum working pressure: 10,000 psi (liquids) 2,000 psi (gases)
  • Suitable for use with steel, aluminum, brass, copper, polythene, reinforced fibreglass and PVC pipe systems
  • Not suitable for use with ABS or CPVC
  • Not suitable for transportation systems containing oxygen, powerful oxidants, concentrated acids or alkalis
  • WRAS regulations do not allow the use of hemp fibres - these are not necessary with this product
