Johnstone's Trade Woodworks Classic Matt Woodstain is designed to give an easy maintenance protective matt finish for above the ground exterior timber, such as rough sawn barge boards, decking and cladding.

It is ideal for new or bare timber and adds a microporous finish which allows the wood to breathe, while it also resists cracking, blistering and peeling. It can be used on its own (2-3 coats) or as part of a system (1 coat matt, 2 coats satin) to provide up to 5 years of weather protection.

Returns & Color-Mixed Paint

Please note that custom color-mixed paints cannot be returned. These products are mixed specifically for you, based on the color you select, and therefore cannot be resold.

We will, however, accept a return or provide a replacement if there is a manufacturing issue or if the color you received does not match the color ordered. If this happens, simply contact us with your order details and photos, and we’ll take care of it.
